Online Resources

On this page are details of some of the online resources used at All Saints' which can also be accessed at home. Details of further resources and sites are listed on the 'Homework' page in the 'Learning' tab from the menu bar above. If you have any trouble logging into any of the sites, please contact the school office.

 

Espresso Pupil Home Access

Espresso is an online cross-curricular service that provides video-rich resources to schools throughout the UK. It contains thousands of videos and multimedia activities, as well as a weekly news service - all designed by teaching professionals. We have used Espresso at All Saints' for some time and now, as part of the school's subscription, we are able to give the children access to Espresso Pupil Home Access. To access Espresso Pupil Home Access children should go to http://www.espresso.lgfl.net and enter the unique username and password they have been given in school.

Alternatively, click on the logo above.  Before children start using Espresso, parents are advised to check out the site for themselves so that they are familiar with what their child may be accessing.

London Grid for Learning's Unified Sign On (USO)

The London Grid for Learning (LGfL) is a consortium of the 33 London local authorities and 2,500 schools working together to provide computing resources. By using the LGfL connection, All Saints' has access to a wide range of services and premium learning resources. To access  LGfL at home, children should go to https://my.uso.im/ or click on the logo below. Users should use the same unique username and password they have been given in school for Espresso Pupil Home Access.

London Grid for Learning's 'Who Am I' Sign On In School

To access  LGfL at school, the children can use a very simple login page that links their user ID with a simple 4 digit personal identification number. When they are in school, the children should click on the logo below and follow the simple instructions. New PINs can be collected from the school office.

DoodleMaths

DoodleMaths is an online Maths App which develops a tailor made programme of fun maths activities for children to use at home. Any child with access to a mobile device, tablet or PC can use DoodleMaths. With regular use DoodleMaths will 'tutor' the user on their specific strengths and weaknesses as it learns about their level of understanding. Skoolbo

Skoolbo is a program to help with reading and maths. Children are immersed in an incredible learning world and are highly motivated by the inbuilt rewards. Parents/carers are equipped with an array of tools to help achieve wonderful educational outcomes for their children. Skoolbo is currently being trialled by children in Year Six. SPaG.com

SPAG.com is a resource that offers practice grammar and punctuation tests online. Each practice SPAG test is instantly marked providing instant reporting to teachers. The tests can be completed either as part of school work or at home. SPag.com is currently being trialled by children in Year Six. To access the site, go to www.spag.com or click on the logo below. Users will need a unique username and password to access the site.

Letter Join Handwriting

At All Saints' we use a cursive joined handwriting script. If you would like to work with your child at home on their handwriting, you can have access to the Letter Join website.
