Pupil Premium Grant
The Government believes that the Pupil Premium Grant (PPG), which is additional to main school funding, is the best way to address the current underlying inequalities between children eligible for free school meals (FSM) and their wealthier peers by ensuring that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most.

How parents / carers can support All Saints' with Pupil Premium Grant Funding
The PPG grant includes the provision of Free School Meals for eligible families for all year groups in school. Even if your child is having a packed lunch, or is a child in Reception, Year 1 or 2 who is receiving a Universal Free School Meal, the school asks all parents/carers to claim their entitlement to Pupil Premium/Free School Meals if they think they are eligible because the school will receive extra funding from the government to support your child.
In order to claim for Pupil Premium/Free School Meals a parent/carer must be claiming one of the following benefits:
-
Income Support;
-
Income based Jobseekers' Allowance;
-
Income-related Employment and Support Allowance;
-
Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999;
-
Child Tax Credit provided they are not entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual income (as assessed by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs) that does not exceed £16,190;
-
The Guaranteed element of State Pension Credit;
-
Universal Credit.
